Below I have illustrated an intake gasket replacement that we recently performed on a 50k mile 2007 Corolla with the standard 1ZZ-FE, 1.8l engine. In the shot below you can see how compressed the original gaskets are. The second picture below shows the intake with the new gaskets install (note how thick they are compared to the originals).
