In what was the biggest mistake I think I could possibly make, I accidently had my timing belt and water pump replaced after having it just done a few months ago (at a different place). Needless to say, this wasn't a cheap accident. Once I brought it to the attention of Lancer, I worked with Carl, the owner, to come up with a really good solution. In what was a very disheartening mistake, is now all good. As I said to Carl, I think he just restored my faith in humanity a bit today. These guys are nice and you can trust them.

How good is Lancer Service? Let's just say I transported my car 10 hours to get it serviced by Carl (owner/operator) and his team. That alone should speak volumes to the quality work that they do when servicing your vehicle.For some context, I own a highly-modified street car that is designed specifically for performance. It is tuned with very tight specifications and getting it to run optimally requires deep knowledge, skills, thoroughness, precision and most of all, critical thinking when diagnosing (e.g., taking time and effort to really identify the root of a problem rather than jumping in and assuming something is wrong. Trust me, this happens often at other shops). In fact, I was leaking oil and thought for sure it was my oil pan. I had conviction that it was the problem and wanted them to change it out for me and replace with a new gasket, but because they had the discipline to be extra detail-oriented, they inspected the entire car and found that it was a simple oil pressure sensor. Saved me hundreds of dollars, turned it around real quickly (in the same day) and was in constant communication with me throughout the process. If peace of mind is your thing, you'd regret not giving Carl and his Lancer Service team the opportunity to show you.Don't even get me started on the customer service. Like none other I've ever been to, they treat each customer as an individual and really personalize the experience. I mean, what other shop gives you a 1:1 call to check up on your satisfaction and follows up with a personal handwritten letter mailed to your home?Overall, I highly recommend Lancer Service. In fact, I have more work to do on my car and traveling 700 miles to see them again. Whether it's a minor oil change or large engine performance work, hit them up with any of your vehicle service needs. You won't regret it!

I was in a pinch: starter went out, and I needed to get to work. Lancer was there to help! They even lent me a car so I could get to work on time. The staff are all kind and respectful, and I never felt like they were trying to sell me things I didn't need like most auto repair shops. Lancer is the real deal!

Brought my '04 GTO M6 to Carl at Lancer Service with major transmission issues. They went through not only the the transmission, but the entire vehicle, to make sure they solved the whole problem. The car had a 3rd party used car warranty (notorious for dodging repair claims). Carl made countless phone calls and spent hours working with the warranty company to make sure I was treated fairly. I can't even imagine how much time went into tracking down all the hard to find parts needed for the repairs. The folks at Lancer service know their way around any car you bring to them. From performance mods to oil changes you can count on getting world class service and results. Needless to say the Goat's driving like brand new. I'll never bring a car anywhere else!

If you're not mechanically inclined yourself and you want a mechanic who can explain what they found in plain English, Lancer is an excellent place to go. They are fabulous about explaining what needs to be fixed right away, what can wait a month or two, and what is just something that's wrong, but does not really effect the safe operation of your vehicle. I recently brought in my Toyota because my A/C wasn't giving me any cooling and they obviously had a full workload, but none the less they were able to fit me in and quickly discovered the problem (a wire to the compressor had broken), changed the oil as I asked and refilled my A/C since they discovered there was about 1/2 the coolant in there than was standard. They called and explained everything and got the work done faster than they estimated.
