Regenerative Braking Systems in EVs

Electric vehicle regenerative braking systems represent a revolutionary advancement over traditional friction brakes found in gas-powered vehicles. While conventional cars rely entirely on brake pads clamping against rotors to convert kinetic energy into heat (which dissipates uselessly into the atmosphere), EVs use their electric motors in reverse to slow the vehicle.
